I have the same problem, but I am using a DVI to Component cable. I have gotten a monochrom double screen so far out of my LG Plasma when hooked up to my computer that has an HD 2400 Radeon Pro. I have tried adjusting the settings on the CCC but it still has not helped. I have an LG 46" plasma. I cannot use the VGA or the S-wire either due to the location of the tv and my equipment. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The problem may be the resolution. Your TV will run 1920x1080. You might try changing the resolution to that and then try connecting to TV again.

In the middle of tv being on, it suddenly went off and cant be turned on. Power is on to all other componenets

The trouble of your tv is the power supply. Try to open the back cover of your tv and try to check the fuse if busted. But be sure to unplug your tv first before engaging in trouble shooting. In order to find the main power supply, try to follow the ac cord it will direct you to the power supply then try to look for the fuse, if you see the fuse try to observe if the fuse wire is only broken try to replace it with the same rating, if the fuse is totally burned out do not just replace it, it has a shorted parts commonly the regulator and the bridge type rectifier.

I own a Philips 34PW8502/37, The picture is hourglass shaped, the images "bow-in" on the left and right of the screen

You have an East/West error caused by an amplifier that "modifies" the frame pulse and modulates the line scan to compensate for a tupe that has not got a 90degree scan.
Follow the scan coil leads and there will be probable dry joints and the pcboard or a power IC that has failed.
Hope this helps but a service manual will be of great assistance to you.

Image not as clear from HTPC on Samsung Series 5000 LED 55

Most PC video cards have their own adjustments for Color and Gamma corrections. I know exactly what you talking about. I have a similar setup and have seen the same problems. You should try switching the Color Gamut if possible. Television broadcast use the NTSC Gamut. A PC can have a predefined Gamut for any number of purposes and applications. Ex: Adobe has several for you to choose from. I hope this helps as a starting point for researching the problem, as I realize it is not a firm solution.

No. USB doesn't send any images. Its a data line.
That said, I can't see that your TV does have a USB port.

However, the TV does have s-video in which COULD be used to show your PC on the TV. However, it won't look very good. (Certainly not as good as a computer monitor).

Blue Box in the Corner won't turn off!

That problem might be on the remote of display settings on video display. There is one button that will turn that off. Try Display Settings
