What U can do is take a Flat tip screw driver & carefully try to Pry the Cover Off... Please be Carefull, and try Prying at different locations, and don't Pry too hard, OK... Let Me know if this Helps.. Sounds like the Brake is Stuck, when the cover comes Off, the Brake should release!!!!! Have a Good One...

I have a 20" inch girls kent trouble bike. How do I take the rear wheel off?

remove the coaster brake lever bolt. This is small bolt that holds the coaster brake lever to the left side chain stay. There will probably be a strap wrapped around the chain stay with bolt going through the strap and the lever. This usually requires a 10mm wrench (sometimes it is 8mm) for the nut and a Phillips or flat head screw driver (some times it's another 10mm bolt head).
The axle nuts are usually 15mm nuts. Loosen these (they usually don't need to be removed all the way) and push the wheel forward to put some slack in the chain. Lift the chain off the rear cog and you will be able to pull the wheel out of the drop outs.
To install, slide the wheel into the dropouts, put the chain back on the cog, pull back on the wheel and tighten the nuts finger tight. Reinstall the bolt through the coaster brake lever and then tighten the axle nuts, pull back on the wheel while tightening the nuts so the chain is tight. Then tighten up the coaster brake lever bolt. (if you tighten the axle nuts first, you won't be able to move the coaster brake lever into place to get the bolt in)

How to get the chain brake reset so ou can get the sidecover back on

If you have removed the sideplate on your chainsaw with the chain brake in the locked position, you will have a very hard time getting it back on without destroying the brake band. If you have done this try this solution. First remove the bar and chain fronm the saw, then start putting the side cover on, use one of the nuts on the front screw. As it comes in contact with the ratcheting part of the hand break make sure you push the chain brake handle forward while tightening the front nut I mentioned. when the nut is snug, pull the brake handle back to reset the brake, You will hear it click into place. then remove the side cover and re install the bar and chain. your good to go/

Need to put a new chain on a Husqvara 235 14 inch chain saw?

Check that the chain brake is in disengaged position by
moving the front hand guard towards the front handle.
Remove the bar nuts and remove the clutch cover (chain
brake). Take off the transportation ring.
Fit the bar over the bar bolts. Place the bar in its rearmost
position. Place the chain over the drive sprocket locate it in
the groove on the bar. Begin on the top edge of the bar.

Make sure that the edges of the cutting links are facing
forward on the top edge of the bar.
Fit the clutch cover (chain brake) and locate the chain
adjuster pin in the cut-out in the bar. Check that the drive
links of the chain fit correctly on the drive sprocket and that
the chain is in the groove on the bar. Tighten the bar nuts
finger-tight.
Tension the chain by turning the chain tensioning screw
clockwise using the combination spanner. The chain
should be tensioned until it does not sag from the
underside of the bar.
The chain is correctly tensioned when it does not sag from
the underside of the bar, but can still be turned easily by
hand. Hold up the bar tip and tighten the bar nuts with the
combination spanner.
When fitting a new chain, the chain tension has to be
checked frequently until the chain is run-in. Check the
chain tension regularly. A correctly tensioned chain
ensures good cutting performance and long life.

I am unable to get the bar and chain off of my Poulan Pro 260 42cc chainsaw because the stud for the clutch brake housing has broken loose inside the housing. When turning the clutch brake nut the clutch...

I ran into the same problem and I "cheated" my way through this. First of all, the thread is metric on the stud. Take an imperial nut and start to thread it on the stud. Don't force it, it will stop after half a turn. Now you hold the imperial nut with a socket or a wrench, and use a flat wrench to undo the other nut(the one that is stuck). It took me 2 minutes to remove it and no damage done at all.

Hope it helps
Mike

How do i get the back tire off my 1982 vf 750 sabre??

put bike on support stand or jack up rear wheel. remove small plastic cover on the left side swing arm and remove nut that anchors brake drum housing to the swing arm support. remove the rear brake linkage from the rear drum. remove the axle nut and slide out axle shaft from axle housing. Be careful to notice the position of the spacer and washers. the installation is the same as removal. be sure to re-adjust the rear brake linkage. If adjusted properly prior to removal it might help to mark the position of the nut on the linkage before removing.

We used our Husqvarna for about 20 minutes when it stopped rotating. Turned it off and was idle absolutely fine but the chain still won't turn. Sorry, don't know the model, but it's brand new....??

on some of the new chain saws there is a safety switch on the guard in front of the handle, it goes forward to lock the chain and pull it back to unlock the chain sometime make sure it is in the it is pulled back and check to see if it is still hook up to the switch.

Brake mechanism stuck in locked position Husqvarn 142 chainsaw

COMMON PROBLEM----you have to push it forward you wont break it, it is much stronger than you think you just have to hold the cover section and push or lever the bar forward, it will go. I believe one Ace hardware guy had some sort lever wrench made up just to do this for all the people like you. so muscle up and do it "youdoit "
