Question about Polaroid FLM-2011 Television
IThe red stand-by light is on. when you push the power button on remote or tv the light turns blue but it won't come on. And you can't turn it off. The only way to get the blue light off is to unplug it and plug it back in.
It is the capacitor. It is really easy to fix, and it will cost you about $4. The capacitor is on the power board and it looks like a small battery. The bad capacitor will have a small bulge on the top, the good ones will be flat on top. You can buy them at Radio Shack. Just look on the side of the capacitor to see which one you will need. If you need any further info I would by glad to help. I have a 40in polaroid that this happened to and it works like a dream now.
