Question about Frigidaire FEQ332E Electric Dryer
I need to change the venting from the rear to the left side. There seems to be a "knock-out" on the left side suggesting it is possible but I do not have the installation instructions. How do I go about making the change?
Many thanks for your help.
Having done over 100 or more of these dryers over the years, it would be a lot easier to remove the knockout panel on the left side, remove the back access panel by removing the two screws, and then removing the back vent. Install one end of a flex vent tube onto the place where you removed the back vent from and put the other end through the now open knockout. Tape vent securely so it doesn't come off and then put the access panel back on.

You would need to "punch out the metal" , youl also need to remove the fron tof the unit(2 screws approx 3-4 inches down form inner panel, holding front panel on, ( youll need to remove the top of the dryer( a few screws across the back of unit.) andthen disconnect the dryer belt(easiest acess through a small acess panel on lower rear of unit, pull the dryer drum out and youl see the existing ve, just a matter of attaching a 90degree elbow and running vent out the side instead of out the back. DISCONNECT POWER TO UNIT FIRST!!!!!!!!!!
