Hello sir, mower will not start or run, does it have good spark, good compression,or only runs on full choke, engine surges up and down, are you getting fuel to the engine if not try this, your carb. is clogged up here is what you can do for a simple repair and other things if you want to, you will need a new air filter, spark plug, oil, if you want to a new blade also ,sears has a mini tune up kit that you can buy. now for the carb, empty fuel tank, place mower on side to where carb is facing up place a rag under carb to catch excess fuel, remove the bowl nut and bowl careful of the gaskets, now spray carb cleaner in the small port holes in the carb steam in the middle of the carb until clean, now spray the bowl nut holes until clean there are three, after cleaning put bowl on the same way you removed it with dip towards front of float, put bowl nut in, now while you have mower on side drain the oil remove filler cap to drain, put pan under spout, mower holds 21 o/z of 30 wt oil,you can remove blade to get sharpened or put new one on,to remove blade put a pair of vice grips on the body where the blade can stop and not turn it is usually a 9/16 or 1/2 socket, put blade on add oil,add new and fresh gas,you should be good to go,hope this helps, what i am telling you here is what i would do if it was here in the shop, any comments welcome, thank you.

For about 2 weeks my car has been hard to start now it wont start it acts like the starter is not engaging to turn motor over when you try to start it it makes a whinning spinning noise we took starter off...

sounds like the battery wire to the starter is possibly the culprit, it may have a bad spot in it not allowing enough voltage to the starter. also depending on the brand solenoid you purchased it is possible to get a bad one. i recommend borg warner electrical products. i hope this helps.

Turn ignition to start and all of a sudden car wont start or even attempt to start. Battery is good all starting cables are clean and tight. Then after I go through everything it just eventually starts...

Possibly the anti-theft system? Is the light blinking fast when it doesn't start? maybe the shifter interlock--does shifting to neutral make it work? Solenoid is possibility but not usually intermittent. Ignition is another possibility. Let us know as your troubleshoot and have more questions.

Water will not drain from dishwasher

the selinoid that activates the drain cycle is possibly burnt out. This selinoid is activated by the timer on the dishwasher. Before I changed out the timer I would change this selinoid. It is located right beside the motor. Take the model and serial numbers to a local appliance supply and they should be able to help you. The replacement of this selinoid is simple and self explainitory.., Good luck on your repairs hope this helped you some

get a new starter or starter selinoid, sounds like its hanging up possible stripped gear on starter of flywheel. If its a stick shift you can always put key in "run" position and have a couple friends push you in neutrel then when you gain speed put it in 3 gear and dump the clutch, if it starts you know the starter, selinoid, or flywheel is faulty

How to change starter selinoid

the starter selinoid is on the starter itself. normally a parts dealer will never seel you a starter selinoid individually but they will sell the starter with the selinoid. but you cant change the selinoid without changing the starter

have you replaced the selinoid? It sounds like the 12 volts is not staying constant to the other side without the wire

No water coming into dishwasher

The hum is a selinoid. The water inlet valve is selinoided operated so I woudl sspeculate that either the valve is bad or the selinoid is. You can check the selinoind with an ohm meter. Since it hums I am guessng that the valve is bad. Likely they come together as one unit.
