Question about Apple Audio Players & Recorders
Connected the Optical cablefrommy LG LCD tv to the optical input of the sound bar. No sound and the VERY POOR MANUAL ilive provided tell me the source should be SPDIF and when I select SPDIF I am presented with INVALID. There isn't a thing in the manual about faults. Just another very poor product and manual. I would NOT recommend this or any ilive produce to anyone!
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Check the users manual for your boombox. Look for information on AUX inputs to the boombox. If there is a way to hook up your tv using AUX inputs it will guide you through the process. For example this boombox by Altec does allow you to hook up AUX equiptment like a tv. CLICK HERE TO SEE IT!
I hope this helps you in yout quest!

I recently got this tv from somone because of this exact problem. I have found a solution that works for mine. You can check to see if it works for you also. What I did was take of the back cover. 3 screws (1 big one in the center and 2 little ones below it). Next look at the power board. If plugged in and turned on the red light on the power board should be lit up. If so your power board is fine. Next find the component that has 4 switches. I manually turned these on and turned the tv on and it worked! Has been working ever since!
