My sansa m200 series mp3 player is showing the music is playing but I have no sound (the face of the player has the artist and song on it). It happened after I tried downloading new music. I also can not power it off, I have to remove the battery. The light on the face does not come on either. I may have downloaded a virus. I am not good on the computer. I do not know how to revive my player. Please help!

To play back a voice recording, you will need to do the following steps after turning on the player. Press Power/Menu briefly to get the software menu. Press the Repeat/A-B/Down button to highlight the line Play Music and press Select to enter the play back sub-menu. Press the Down button again to go to the line Recordings and press Select again. The manual for the Sansa M200 MP3 player is available as a PDF from the manufacturer here: http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/241 . The details for playing back a Voice Recording are on page 23-24 (24-25 of the PDF). You will need Adobe Reader or a similar program to read the manual.
pluge the sansa into the usb. go to my computer/computer. look for the sansa icon in that folder. double click, go to music, then right click on the song u want to delete and click delete
Have you tried removing the battery? Or maybe your battery is low.
As well, if your mp3 player isn't turned on when you plug it in, that seems to affect if the computer recognizes it.
Thank you so much! It works perfectly!
