Question about Exercise & Fitness
Recently my treadmill quit. I dug into it and found that the rotor brushes were worn (one was actually worn down to a nub and the rotor was rubbing the housing a little). I found a spot to buy new brushes and put them in. They were the right size, but did not have the same fittings as the old ones, so I had to solder the lead wires to the old connector wires. After reassembly the motor does run, but it has very little power. I can stop the motor with backpressure against the rotation of the tread. I have reached the end of my limited "expertise". Can anyone tell me why this is happening and what, if anything, can be done to fix the problem?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

you are letting the ice cream get to frozen, this should be a soft gelato ice cream, after 20 minutes turn off the top motor a leave on with the freezer unit still working or take out mixture put in tubs and put in freezer, the lid is designed to come off to stop the machine from breaking. Any magimix parts can be bought at http://www.magimix-spares.co.uk/

i have had the same problem.Chances are that the thermister has burnt out. This is not a major problem. You can get the part at radio shack for about $1. All you need is a little screwdriver and about 10 minutes and it will be fixed. The thermister is a silver (fuse) that is located on the back of the motor the other side goes to the speed control board. Radio shack sells this thermister in a two pack put one in and tape the other in the cover for the next time this happens. The thermister should be 120v @ either 135 degrees or anything around 150 degrees. The thermister is an overheat limiter that prevents the motor from burning out.

Adjust the tension on the right side rear using an allen wrench. Try 1/4 turn clockwise( should tighten). then run tread mill for 30 sec. to see if it centers itself. repeat again if not. if its to tight then turn the left side in a 1/4 turn
