What you might of done is pushed the dvd tray to close it, so its out slightly.Come across it a couple of times. all i did was, open the tray & before it started to close, switched off the power. pull the tray until it opens fully(dont yank it). when its fully open, try to pull it very slightly more. plug it back in & let it go back its self, if it doesn't. push it. all thats happened is its just out slightly. messing about with it like this will sort it im sure. let us know how you get on. firstname.lastname@example.org

Not a lot to go on...
I would expect the unit says read for a while, then opens the drawer. This is an optic issue. Optics are $$$. If the drawer opens almost immediately, it is likely the drive's drawer sense switch needs cleaning.

if you open your unit you will find a black rubber connecting to a pulley under the drawer try to check it if theirs a spilled greased remove the grease and try to operate it if still the rubber is not holding try to replace it.
