9 ft-lbs .Now about the timing marks. If you look at the top you can see 4 gears:2 balancer shafts, the crank shaft and the cam shaft. There are two possibilities for timing marks:the first is balancer to- camshaft timing marks,balancer-to- balancer timing marks and the second one iscamshaft-to crankshaft timing marks and balancer-to-balancer timing marks.Ignition coil-to-flyweel gap is 0.016 inch.

The pump is leaking some gray fluid

Gray fluid is usually indicative of old oil with water mixed into it. First you have to determine if the fluid is coming out of the motor or pressure pump. Then change the oil in that, or both, and then watch the condition of the oil when you use the washer. With new oil, it won't turn gray but will get a milky coloration to it. There shouldn't be any way for water to get into the motor oil short of the engine being sprayed directly with high pressure water. If water is getting into the pump oil you'll have to check the seals inside the pump.

Oil leak front engine timing chan

1995 Tracker would have a timing BELT. Normal oil leak points (in order) on a Suzuki G16 engine are the distributor base (rear of motor), valve cover (top of motor), front main seal (behind lower timing belt cog) cam seal (behind the upper timing belt cog) and rear main seal. (behind the flywheel). I'd suspect the front main seal or cam seal. I use foot power to help find oil leaks.

Leaking at front of transmission

Hi Clifford, Any leakage from the front, or for that matter the rear of a transmission is a big job! The leakage if its from the transmission, will probably be behind the torque converter if the vehicle is automatic, or behind the clutch release bearing on a manual box. If the vehicle is consuming engine oil the leakage may well be from the rear crankshaft seal, which is situated behind the flywheel. If you need to remove the flywheel, keep in mind that the bolts are tightened to a specified torque which must be adhered to when refitting. Wherever the leakage is from the removal of the gear box is required. Regards John

Troy built mower honda 160 engine oil leak around governer shaft. no oil seal but shows one on parts breakdown. Can not find part number for shown seal.

Drain oil from mower until proper level. Remove spark plug and pull starter rope several times to blow out cylinder. Spray starter fluid in cylinder pull rope several times to clean out. Replace fouled plug with new spark plug. Remove air cleaner, ensure no oil present, replace filter as needed. Clean air filter box with carb cleaner. Install new air filter reattach filter cover. Prime engine, pull starter rope 1/2 way 4 times to help prime, then pull starter rope fully up to 10 times to start.

How do i remove the flywheel from my honda xr250 1987? it has an oil leak, i need to get at the seal behind the flywheel. thanks

take a long crowbar fit it between the bolts and crack the bolts with a breaker bar in an opposing or star pattern use a mapp gas or propane torch VERY CARFULY hit the area around the bold for 4 seconds to overcome any loctite if you cant break with a bar by hand first there is a better way but it involves a specialty tool or two

Pressure washer with 5hp Honda will ONLY run with choke on

It sounds like it has been tipped or too much oil has been put in. This would explain the oil in the air filter. First check the oil level. Then you need to clean the oil out of the carburetor. It is dirty or plugged and that is why it only runs when choked. You can try a spray-in carb cleaner but the best thing is to remove it (if you are handy enough) and soak it in varsol for 24 hours. Good luck
