Neff b1861 oven fan and interior lights not working on Circotherm settings

sounds like the control switch to me. if you have already taken it apart it's the switch with the most wiring.

We have a 2 and a half yr. old Frigadare oven and the element went out. we bought a new one (gave them the model number) and the new element is so skinny than the original one. I turned the oven on to 375...

When you replace an oven element you must replace it with an element of the same rating. Say the original was a 2400 watt element. You could probably get away with a 2200 watt replacement element. You would not put an 1800 watt element in as a replacement. It wont heat up as much, particularly if it is a big oven. I would check both ratings first.

Once the seletor is on fan there is no heat in the oven and i have already changed the element. Is it possibly a faulty selector switch.

It's possibly the switch, I would first check your connections to the new element, check there is continuity in the new element (just because it's new doesn't mean that it's not the problem). Check that the clock is set and not on auto. It could also be the oven stat, does the indicator light come on above the temp knob (if it does this is a good indication that there is power to the element).
Use the link, look at page 4, check there is continuity across part 057895 (next to fan). page 2 make a visual check of parts 167546 and 183598 for blows on the board or scorching on the switch.
Hope this helps and that it is something simple, best of luck.

Baumatic oven not heating up. Grill and fan fine.

if it is the b180, the answer (having just fixed this) is really simple.

The coily bit is the oven element - it will have gone. A new one from eBay cost me about 6 quid.
[WHEN IT ARRIVES !]

Turn the power off.
Inside the oven use a philips screwdriver to remove the 4 screws (KEEP THEM !)
You will see a coily thing and a fan.

You unscrew 3 more screws (2 on the left and 1 on the right).
(KEEP THESE TOO!)

now ... bit tricky, have the new one inside the oven and take each wire off one at a time and put it on the new element.

Screw it back on but DONT put the last panel back in.

Turn the oven on maximum for about 2 minutes and see it glow red.

Turn the oven off. Make a cup of tea and have a couple of biscuits while admiring how good you are and waiting for the element to cool down!!!

Put the final panel back in place. Whole thing (including a cup of tea) takes about half an hour.

Bottom oven not working have put new element in still not heating

You need to determine that you are getting power to the element, you will need a meter to test with.
If no power, then could be faulty thermostat or regulator switch.
If you have power, then element faulty.
trust this helps you.
Thanks.

Oven blows main switch

There is a short circuit between the lower oven control and the lower element.
Disconnect the lower element. Put electrical tape on the loose terminals and turn the lower oven on.
If it does not blow, replace the lower element with a new element.
If it does blow, Check the wiring to the lower element for continuity to the frame of the range.
If you get continuity replace the damaged wire..
Finally, check the control knob switch for continuity to ground on the frame of the oven.

Fridgiaire Gallery series Model GLEB30T8CBA lower elements dont work

I replaced the relay board for the top oven (the one with the transformer) and it works properly now. My issue was only for the top oven so you probably have to replace both relay boards since both ovens have only the top element working.

318022002 is the part number for the relay board with transformer
318022001 is the part number for the relay board without transformer

Yes the one without the transformer is more expensive for some reason.

The boards are on the top of the oven, I was able to pull out the oven about 75% of the way out of the cabinet and easily get to the boards. Just unplugged the connections and plugged them into the new board.

To get the oven out there are two small screws that go into brackets inside the top oven door. Highly recommend taking the doors off the oven to pull it out, much easier to work with.

NOTE: On my old board I noticed one solder joint that was burned out and I since I already had the new board I just replaced but you might want to check that first and see if just a solder fix gets you working again before you spend $$ on a new board.
