Question about Technics Audio Players & Recorders
I suggest that the problem is in the silicon grease inside the selectors.

For sure, even though a manual is a bit hard to find for free, we may be able to help you solve the problem. I have worked on alot of technics amps over the years. What is happening to the amp?

This happens when one or more components in the power amplifier section has failed.
The protect circuit keeps large DC voltages off the speakers.
The only thing you can check for before finding a tech is that the speakers are firmly connected at both ends. If they are ok, you need a tech
PLease rate my help if this helps
