Camera over heats and wont turn on

You will have to test each capacitor in the camera to find the swelled or burning out cap. You will have to use a multi-tester or capacitor tester. Otherwise the company will fix it for $50

Lens wont come out

Try Power Resetting the Camera which should resolve the issue.

To Power Reset the Camera, First, please turn OFF the Camera.
Then, remove the battery pack from the Camera.
Then, press and hold the POWER button on the Camera for 30 seconds.
Then, reinsert the battery pack and check whether the issue is resolved.

If the issue still persits after Power Resetting the Camera service of the Camera is recommended.

Camera Wont turn On: Is it stuck in USB mode? How do i fix it?

I was able to get past this problem by removing and reinserting the battery. This caused, in effect, a hard reset of the camera, which let me power it up fresh and take pictures again. Of course, it's not exactly reassuring that the problem arose in the first place,
