Question about Nikon L16 silver Digital Camera
My camera got slipped off from my friends hand when the lens was open and now when i start it it dosent work the lens is not opening it just make some sounds and then a message is flashed on the screen saying lens error what shall i do please help......
Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can try that may (or may not) correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty (or repair cost approaches that of the camera), they're worth that try. Some of the later steps do involve some risk to the camera, so carefully weigh your options before deciding to conduct them:

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I'm sorry but you can't. There is no function on the camera to stream video.
Also, the camera goes into standby mode after 30 seconds (by default). And 3 minutes after that, it shuts off completely. It does that to save batteries. Again. I'm sorry. Good webcams average between $20. to $50. usd and they are made to work 24 hours a day 7 days a week and not shut off automatically.
Even though the solution was not what you prpbably wanted, don't let it stop you from rating it a fixya. I would appreciate it. Let me know if I can help you with anything else, and thanks for coming to FixYa.

Buy a new camera im afraid to say. If the lens is not going back into the camera, its more than likely bent.
Tilt the camera up and look at the lens. If its bent, its done. Not covered under warranty.
SOMETIMES, not all the time, you can try and push the lens straight. "Pop it back into place". This may or may not work. But if your camera is not operating, you really dont have much to lose. Average repair cost is more than $120 dollars. Not worth it in some cases.

Yes you right. After fall down the lens internal guide pin is damaged and thats why its happens.
So visit your nearest service center for repair. Thanks.
