Thats gonna depend a few different factors, your stove manufacture will give you their minimum requirement, and then i would ck with the local town codes.

How high should the microwave be above the stove?

In our area the bottom of the cabinet that you are mounting it to needs to be a minimum of 66" from the floor. You should check around with someone in your area to see what local codes are for mounting your microwave. Most of the time this will put the bottom of your microwave anywhere from 16" to 20" above your stove. See the following link for a listing of many types of appliances and their clearance needs.

WANT TO CHANGE OUT MY GAS STOVE WITH AN ELECTRIC RANGE. NEED TO KNOW WHAT 240 WIRE I NEED,ALSO WHAT AMP BREAKER I NEED.

Where are you running it from? Distance from the box can have a lot to do with the size of the wire. The other thing is the amperage of the appliance. 20 Amps is common and you should use 10 guage wire in most cases.

I own FRIGIDAIRE ES100/105 (electric stove and oven). Yesterday I was using the oven and suddenly I heard a loud sound. I went to check it I found out the both the oven and stove were off. And not working....

HI. The actual issue will be with the main logic board, which is where the main element control relays are mounted. These very important relays are damaged. The main board will need to be replaced, asap.

With that said, if you could be so kind; Please post the entire model number so that i may pull up all necessary part numbers needed, as well as, service manual links and diagrams to help with your repair.

Water and debris in flue liner of Jotul Stove

Hi,
You should have a swept T connector at the base, with the sweep going from the stove upwards, but the other end of the T going into a removable cap - or very short length of pipe. If you only have a standard bend - replace it with the T.

This is actually normal for wood burners. In an unlined chimney, the lighter "tar" fractions from the wood would soak into the brickwork, and show through the wall in a few years. In a lined system - they have to go somewhere, and usually condense inside the flue - running back down to the base.
The "chinese hat" style cap is actually very good for everything except sideways hail.

Sorry - but it's the nature of the fuel. It is possible to use a clay based absorbent at the base - Cat litter is actually fine.

GE profile gas stove igniter don't stop igniting

take a look at the igniter located in the center of two burners. clean the gap with a stiff brush between the eletrode and the upper plate. the distance is preset at the factory. you may have enough buildup to close the gap enough to trigger the igniter.

Gas stove DCS

sounds like the thermal fuse may have gone on it.

is it just the stove or does the cooktop work funny too?

a technician shouldn't cost you more than $80.00 to diagnose. part is farily inexpensive too + labour to install.
