Question about Philips 27PT643R 27" TV
I forgot to mention, I have lost remote long ago, so remote is not the problem. It started way after remote was lost.
Your problem is a stuck button or buttons on the front of the set or a problem with the Microprocessor. If you know how to trouble shoot solid state electronics, you have to monitor all the scan and address lines running from the micro and make sure the b+ is not noisy. if your not an experienced tech. then replace the main board. that board is available through http://www.ptscorp.com You have to get the complete model # as Im told theres numbers after the r OF THE MODEL # YPU GAVE. that you gave. when at the site get the phone # and call them with all your info and they bwill tell you how much the rebuilt board will be to ship to you. if your not a tech you should have a trained technician replace the board for you as there ARE AND WILL BE A FEW MINOR ADJUSTMENTS THATS GOING TO BE NEEDED AFTER THE BOARD IS REPLACED.
