SOURCE: Daewoo Washer Error E8

Hi.

E8 is fault connection from CCU (Control board) to balancing sensor.

When you get E8, this is often because of a faulty control board.

Try first disconnecting power for a couple of minutes, to reset the appliance.

If you still get E8, then you need to call a technician. Testing is done jumping the two wires to the sensor to bypass the sensor, then replacing either sensor or control board.

If you want to arrange a repair, then you can call the phone number listed on the machine owners manual.

Regards.

SOURCE: I have a Daewoo DWD FD1233. It's brand new &

Hi
E8 error is displayed due to no communication between the Control board and the balancing sensor, the wire harness connecting both these should be checked. If fine then the control board should be replaced as its still under warranty. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Cycle starts waters comes in, after about 30 seconds water goes out beeps 4 times goes off

Hi
It would be helpful to know the brand/ model etc.
Usually if the water gets in, and then drains out straight away, the dishwasher thinks that it is either not filling, or over filling. If there are 2 pressure switches, there would be one for fill and one for overflow, the fill one (or the pressure tube to it) would be faulty.
Otherwise, if there is only one pressure switch, it may be a dual switch, in which case it is faulty.
If it is a whirlpool or LG, there may be an issue with the flow meter which checks the volume of water coming in.
Best of luck with it. If there are further issues try to supply more info in your response as while dishwashers all do the same thing, some brands go about it in very different ways.
