Ladydiw,

Are you trying to print the image to the full size of the paper if so does you printer support edge to edge printing?

If not or if you are unsure try resizing the picture to leave a border round the edges.

Regards

Nick

Trying to print a 4x6 photo on HP photostock. First one printed fine. The second time it jammed. After fixing the jam, the pictures print up so high that the top half is cut off.

I have had a few HP printers that seem to get confused when something doesn't go according to plan. I eventually learned to switch everything off and walk away for half an hour.

My printer will not cut off and i can 39 t print and i get a co

Unplug the printer from the power source. Press and hold the power button for sixty seconds. then plug it back in and turn it on. that should clear your error. Then check for unprinted documents in the print queue by clicking on the arrow next to your clock and right click with your mouse on top of the picture of the printer. Open your print queue and delete any unprinted documents you see.

Screen border

You are probably in the "3:2" ratio print setting. This is accessed through the "F" button, under image quality. The 3:2 is a ratio of height to width which corresponds to a 4x6 inch print. The other settings are approx. 4x5.33 inches in h to w ratio. Just change the quality setting to the larger megapixel settings and the bars will disappear.

Picture dock

Go to Start/Control Panel/ Add remove software.
Remove the Kodak Easy share software.

Do not re install it.

Use USB cable to connect camera to computer
Use alternative software [picasa which is Free] or any other image editor for processing and printing images.
It is likely your printer has supplied software that is suitable.

Using the cutter

you want to print borderless on a cutsheet media? you just have to select and 'cheat' the printer in the printer properties, in there choose roll on the paper source option then enable the cutter and choose double cut on printer's set-up menu on the panel, then it'll cut before and after the printing to make it borderless from top to bottom and from edge to edge. just be sure that the cutsheet media is long enough so that the printer can still hold the media as it finishes the printing or else it'll be a waste, cause the printer wont finish the image. and take note that the epson sp9600 has a limitation in printing borderless, it'll only print borderless on (12", 17", 24", 36:, and 44") media size only i think there's also 14". trust me it'll work, ive done it! :P
