Panasonic dmr-eh50 Clock setting greyed out - unable to reset clock after clocks went back.

DST ended this past weekend, so I thought I'd better check the DVR to make sure we don't miss any shows. The time displayed was 1 hour ahead of current time, so the DVr did not adjust time to reflect the end of Daylight Savings Time.

Also looking to see if I could reset the clock manually, the Clock Settings (or options, not sure of the exact title) is grayed out, and not selectable in the Setup menus.

To resolve this issue follow the steps below:

(1) Remove all discs from the unit.
(2) Set the unit to DVD Mode
(3) From the front panel of the unit, open the middle door to display the up and down channel buttons
(4) Press and hold both the up and down channel buttons until the unit displays "BYE" and then flashes "12:00 A"
(5) Release the up and down channel buttons
(6) This will clear the unit and you will be prompted to reset the TV Guide Settings
(7) Setup your TV Guide according to the on screen display
(8) From your remote select "SETUP"
(9) Scroll down to "Setup", right arrow to the options on the right, and down arrow to "Clock Settings"
(10) Select "Set Clock Manually" if your TV Guide Function is not providing you with the proper time

Good luck!!!

How do you reset the lamp clock on model number

According to the lamp manual you just need to power the set on with the remote and then press (and hold) the Vol - button on the front of the set, While holding the Vol- button on the front of the set press and hold the PIP button on the remote. HOLD both for more than 5 seconds or until the lamp timer has been reset to 0 appears on the screen.

I set the INPUT to INPUT 2 but when I change channels it will not stay there. How do I lock it into place? Also, how do I set the clock on the TV? I used the menu, went to D.S.T and SET CLOCK, but at that...

your not saposed to use your tv remote to change chanels if you put it on input 2, im assuming you have a cable box, that is plugged into input 2, and if you are using the cable remote, after you put the tv on input 2, make sure you push the little cable buttom at the top of the remote befor you change the chanel

I have a panasonic dvd recorder DMR EH50 and I know this makes me a really techno "dummy" but I can't understand how you connect the player to the tv to make it record. I've got it so I can play...

My dear friend you need to connect the signal source direct to the dvd and then to the tv.If you got cable you need to connect it to the input of the dvd and then connect the output of the dvd to the tv set.
And when you go to record put the channel on the dvd

I cannot reset my lamp clock

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080221185527AAvGCui

I just now replaced my lamp and tried the solution on the above bookmarked site (hold down VOL- on the TV itself while holding down the SPLIT button on the TV remote simultaneously for several seconds... I didn't need all 20 seconds that this site recommends), and that worked for me. About 5-10 seconds in, I saw a blue box on my screen that basically said "Lamp timer has been reset to 0" with an "Exit" box below that. It took me a while to find the "Exit" button on my remote control to clear that box off the screen, but that's how I cleared it.

My TV is just short of 3 years old; I bought my Panasonic PT-52LCX65 on "Black Friday" (day after Thanksgiving) in 2005. My lamp died last Saturday night.

Hope this helps! -- ChuckE
