Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

UK WAP gateway settings
The following table shows basic WAP gateway setup information for the main UK mobile phone operators. The menu options differ between handset manufacturers. Some of the common menu fields explained:Bearer type: There are two types: GSM or GPRS. GSM works by dialling a dedicated WAP dial-up number and should work on any WAP-enabled handset. GPRS is a newer technology, and only works on selected handsets. GPRS is an always-on service that is billed per-kilobyte, and not as GSM, which is billed per-minute. Dial-up number - The telephone number that your WAP browser needs to dial to connect. (Not required for GPRS)

  • GPRS APN - If connecting over GPRS (as opposed to dial-up), you need an Access Point Node address, so the network knows where to direct your request. See our GPRS for full UK GPRS settings
  • Username and password - Note that these are case sensitive, and should be typed in as shown
  • Gateway IP details - WAP works by routing traffic through a Gateway that handles optimising the content efficiently. The address is made up of a series numbers separated by dots. This may also be referred to as the WAP Proxy Server address.
  • Homepage - This is the main page provided by a network operator... The front-door for access to content provided via your network operator
  • Below is the numbers you will need.
  • GSM Dial up Number>+447836 900808
  • GPRS APN>wap.vodafone.co.uk (Contract) pp.vodafone.co.uk (PAYG)
  • Username>user@vodafone.net or web will post the rest

SOURCE: samsung f480t stuck on telstra settings for internet

I have the same phone & also on telstra, but intend on selling it.
You should be able to settings, connectivity, preferred network, insert, network list & this will give you all your options on the usual networks. You may need to scroll down a fair bit in the list until you find vodaphone.
These phones aren't locked to telstra so you do get the options :)

If you have Airtel or Tata Docomo as your mobile provider, we have confirmed reports of successfully using WhatsApp with a specific wireless access point configuration:

  1. Go to Settings > Configuration > [Preferred Access Point] > Select Mobile Office.
  2. Go to Settings > Configuration > [Default config. settings] > Delete the config. settings.
  3. Reboot your phone.

If you have Vodafone as your mobile provider, these steps may help:

  1. Go to Settings > Configuration > [Preferred Access Point] > Select Vodafone Mobile Connect.
  2. Go to Settings > Configuration > [Default config. settings] > Delete the config. settings.
  3. Reboot your phone.

If you have Idea as your mobile provider, you may be able to successfully use WhatsApp by following these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Configuration > [Default Config Settings] > Select Idea Internet
  2. Go back to Configuration and then to [Preferred access point] > Select Idea Internet

My phone started with VODAFONE UK after formatting its memory, y?

There are two things you can try:

  1. Send a blank SMS to 4777 the network will send your settings back in the form of an SMS and ask you to save them, the PIN code should be 1234.
  2. Set up the access points manually Go to Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection>Select Access Points > Options > New access point > Enter the following details
Connection Name: Safaricom
APN: safaricom
Username: saf
Password: data

If you need any further help, let me know.

Cannot connect sciphone i68+ to the internet via vodofone sim

Ask vodaphone for http for wap and input manually if they still not helpful try Asda Mobile they piggy back Vodaphone and have been really helpful. Ask for details to be emailed for printing then once received on phone select Service then select Wap then Input address. Use onscreen keyboard and toggle between ABC abc 123 & >> for symbols. Good luck.

The access to the internet may have something to do with Vodaphone - They will need to send you settings to save, which will allow you access.
