SOURCE: Pictures showed little white stripes, optic zoom

The electronics that run the sensor are gone. The camea can be sent back for repair, but the cost may be more than it is worth. New cameras like yous sell for $ 299.99 and up. If it was mine, I would toss it and buy a newer camera. You will get new features and more resolution. If you have a lot of accessories and really like that old one, you may try finding a used on in very good condition. Be aware of used since you dont know what problems you will be buying. Make sure the camer has a return period or warranty so you can return it if it doesn't test correctly.

SOURCE: Lens Error

If you are sure that your battery is fully charged but still does not do any good, then do this little trick:

1. Hold the camera on your right hand with the lens facing the ground.

2. As you press the power on button, tap or hit the camera's base to your left palm. Do this several times.

Chances are, there could be a sand or granule of dust that got stuck on the sides of the lens, preventing it to retract properly.

Hope this helps.

C-af 1 2x teleplus mc7 will not auto focus with my 90-300mm canon ef lens on my canon d7 dslr. can you help please.

Teleconverter loses maximum lens speed.
With 2X teleconverter, your 90mm-300mm f4.5~5.6 will become something like f8~f11. Most SLR AF cameras need maximum aperture of f5.6 to autofocus so by using the 2X teleconverter on this zoom lens, it will not autofocus, because the lens's light gathering became too low.
Here is more information about using teleconverters.

Konica lens converter to Olympus

They're easy to adapt to fit on a 4/3 mount body, but the lens will be totally manual and will not automatically communicate information about which lens aperture is in use to your camera. You will also not have the ability to automatically stop down the aperture when shooting, so you'll need to focus with the aperture ring set to the widest setting (allows in most light to make focussing easier) and then turn the aperture ring down to the correct setting for actual exposure.

In all, it's a bit of a chore, but does allow you to use your lens. Optical quality will not seem as good as you remember, contrast will be lower (unless you mask the rear of the lens to suit the smaller 4/3 sensor) and the lens will have the same angle of view as a long telephoto zoom in the 160-400mm range, so almost all shots will have camera shake unless you use the image stabilisation and/or a tripod. All of that may sound off-putting, but with care and awareness of the limitations of what you propose you'll still be able to achieve very good results. I use a commercially available adapter to use many of my old OM mount lenses on my E-510 with all the same caveats and have been pleased with the results.

If you Google "Konica to 4/3" you'll find further details, but to get you started click here for a link to someone who can supply ready made adapters (I have no personal experience of the supplier), but if you or anyone you know has basic workshop skills you can make them yourself using details available from the search term I suggested.

I hope that my reply has helped you to decide what to do next and would appreciate it if you would take a moment to rate my answer..

Problem with digital concepts teleconverter

The SX1 has an amazing 20X optical zoom. The teleconverter will allow to get pictures if the camera zoom is not fully on 20X. It means that you can't get a full 40X zoom images, but a 30X maybe. I don't why canon has this problem.

How to use this lens

I'm not familiar with the F-828 but on all the other CyberShot models which I've used this adapter on you have to enable it in the camera set-up menu before you can use it.

Some CyberShots need a firmware update before this can be done.

I have a Nikkon D 60 with 18-55. I want to buy a 18 -300 mm AF Zoom lens with VR.

Nikon doesn't make such a lens. As far as I know, neither does anyone else. Nikon's longest zoom range is 18-200mm. Somebody makes an 18-270mm and it is available with a Nikon mount.
