Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
When starting up running very slow (8 mins to fully start up) also cant look at photos with photo editor as freezers up
This can happen if;
there are too many things starting on start up
You dont have enough RAM to properly function
you need to scandisk and defrag and havent done it in ages and/or had a couple of very bad incomplete boot ups.
Baby your computer till it loads windows. Run a scan disk ( it will reboot to do this)
and then defrag.
and then do it every week for good performance *s*
Thank you and good luck
(You can click start/help and type scan disk to find out how to do these things if you are unfamiliar with them)
