Connect with external monitor or tv.
if works ok you have problem with display or the cable that connects the display with motherboard. If your model is too old maybe you have problem with inverter.

Rockola download jukebox lights and screen do not turn on, but "insides" seem to be running ok. Screen says no video connection, then goes blank. Video cables are ok.

The lights inside most likely indicate it has power and is waiting for power button to be pressed. Could be as simple as power switch is failing.

My dell inspiron 1525 wont switch on, no lights or sound at all please help!

The first thing to try is a different AC adapter. About half of all no power failures are the AC adapter no longer sends power to the system. You can also use a multimeter to check the DC output of the adapter (About 20VDC) If the AC adapter is putting out power or a known good adapter doesn't make any difference, then try reseating the LCD hinge cover cable connection. If still no power and especially if the power jack seems to be damaged, then a motherboard replacement or adapter jack replacement is required (Roughly $100 either way)

One of the circuit boards should be replaced inside, probably the power supply, the good thing is that screen is ok and it's a most expansive part, you can take it to the local repair shop for diagnostic and repair.

if the laser is moved to the middle of the area and when you first turn it on it doesn't go back to starting possession's then some thing is wrong with the motor drive more than not it's likely you have a crack in the board.

My Sansa e250R, 2 gigs, froze. Help!

It seems like your E250R is experiencing a temporary system error due to a corrupted song, and needs to be reset. Try to "Soft Reset" your player, press and hold the "Menu" button until the LCD light and scroll wheel light turn off. Since the player was probably left on for more than 7 hours (as you indicated), you would need to re-charge the player before proceeding further. Charge it for at least 2-3 hours. Next, try to format the player to rid of any corruption then re-transfer the songs. If you have subscription songs, then I would suggest to delete the song you last played which caused the error. I hope this helps. There is another solution for the player, but for now this might actually resolve the issue. Let me know the results. :)
