Hi,

This means your print cartridges are not installed correcly. There may also be an obstruction.

when you look at the travel bar, you will see two strips that run across the cartridge path, one is semi transparent and the other black. See that these are not out of place, that is not strung freely and resolve what may have these caught.

My first response is likely the problem.

Regards,
Worldvet

I have done solution 1 to get cartrage moving, but printer still error # 1200,what else can i try?

The "1200" error message can be caused either by the cartridges that are not snapped in correctly, the encoder strip (transparent strip) is not in its position or something is blocking the cartridge carrier path. We are not able to send faxes, the error message is 1200. The reference number for the fax is x4270.

The 1200 error indicates the cartridge carrier has stalled. It could be caused by a cartridge that's not properly seated or the encoder strip (transparent strip behind the cartridge carrier) is out of place. Refer to this article from the Lexmark website: 1200 Error Message on a Lexmark X4250/X4270/F4270 All-In-One to help you identify and resolve the problem.

My lexmark X4250 is showing an error code 1200.

It means that you have a paper jammed somewhere in the machine. Check in all the places where the paper moves for some scrap of paper that may be covering a sensor.
