I have a LG Shine (CU 720). Recently, when I try to make a call, it always shows "No circuit channel available.". Then the call is terminated.

    Who can help me?

    Thanks in advance!

same thing, full bars, but i cant place any outgoing call. also, when people try to cal me, it goes straight to voicemail without ringing.

my LG Shine does the same thing! incoming calls go straight to voicemail, and it takes 2 or 3 tries to place a call... what a pain!

LG shine- Rogers wireless (Ontario,Canada) No "circuit channel available" shows up when i try and make calls, does not make the call. Missed calls do not show up in list, goes straight to voice mail. I get recieved text message's that are marked from hours before. This phone has given me nothing but problems since the second week i got it.

My phone does the same thing. It just started and I've had the phone for 4 months. Does anyone know how to fix it?

I have the exact same problem and i am also in Ontario. Did any of you ever fix this issue?

This is very frustrating.  I live in New York state and have exactly the same problem that andrew5000 has.  It's been doing this since shortly after I got it.  I was told by the man who sold me the phone that they are working on the towers in my area and the problem should be solved in a few weeks.  A few weeks later it was slightly better.  But there are days like today when it is much worse.  Can't use the phone for hours, and I have missed important calls too that don't even register.   Something tells me that this is an LG problem, not a tower problem.

exactly the same issue as everyone above me mentioned. LG Shine, goes straight to voicemail with "No circuit channel available" appearing on the screen.

    has anyone resolved the problem?

I've had this problem. I'm from Wisconsin and it does in work in places like my school. It just totally cuts my calls not even going to my voicemail. it doesn't even let me listen to my voicemails.

I have acquired a CE2000 that has a dead channel. What is the most common items that go bad affecting one channel only? Also, Are schematics available?

If you turn up the faulty channel and you can hear nothing, then it could be the pre-amp that's gone, otherwise it could be the power amp. The most common cause is a faulty output transistor. It will be open circuit, not short as that would blow the fuse. Though some amps do have a fuse for each channel. The good news is that the other channel is the same as the bad one. So all readings taken with a multimeter should be the same. So if you find a bad/wrong reading IE one that doesn't match the good channel, you have found the source of the trouble.

Odd channels go out 1,3,5.....

Unless you are in super humid environment, this is more likely a crack in the circuit board OR a bad connector on a ribbon cable. Also BROKEN or cold solder joint for a connector pin through the circuit board.

Good way to cause this with ribbon cables is to NOT distribute the load when pulling them off. Often the wires near the edge are stretched and make poor contact with the little forks that pierce the insulation.

CRC226 is a good product to use for contacts. Available at Home Depot in the electrical department. Blue spray can. Use sparingly.

Just stopped batteries...checked channels..

with all the changes of the FCC frequencies that are available to consumers now, I would call the manufacturer to see if they are crossed with the new first responders added airspace.

Denon AVR-3805

It's likely that you have shorted some speaker outputs, I had that problem and sorted it. Unfortunately it does mean replacing some output transistors..the devices are dificult to get to just to add insult to injury. They are the devices that are mounted directly onto the large heatsink and solder connected to the bottom circuit board. You only have to change the matched pair that you have blown....tricky to identify which ones without some electronics knowledge. The power output section does have some fuses to protect it but sadly these do not appear to be fast enough to stop "one" from damaging the power output stage if you unfortunately short outputs. The transistors are available from Farnell, use pin compatible replacements SAP15N and SAP15P.....all the best. Doctor Bill

Not Available Flashing

My Samsung TXN3271HF had the same issue where the poorly-designed Soft-Touch channel button begin to register phantom touches (leading to the "Not Available" message flashing on the screen).

The fix is simple: remove the plastic strip containing the Soft-Touch buttons and when replacing the strip, leave some room between the buttons and the TV's circuit board (you will see the circuit board once you remove the plastic strip).

Hope this helps.

Lost channels 2 through 52

I think the low band (Channel 2-6)in your tuner is not working. This could be in the tuner itself or in the band switching circuits. Possibly she deleted the low channels or locked them out. Stargazer
