Control panel was disconnected by previous owner. I need the wiring diagram so I can connect the controller to see if the oven works. Ge sent me a copy of the diagram that is also missing from the oven. But its a lousy copy and is hard to see wire connections and colors. Disconnect power to the range.
Remove the rear panel cover.
Disconnect....then re-connect all the wires on the oven control.
Replace the panels.
Plug the range in and try it again.
If this does not work the ERC(clock) must be replaced.

Tip

I get error F7 on GE oven.

Hi.

F7 on GE ovens means that there is a poor contact to keypad detected. When this happens the problem is either keypad or control panel.

Problem is fixed testing keypad and control assembly and replacing the faulty part.

Here the procedure to test the parts:

Hold down the CLEAR/OFF button on pad.
Disconnect the ribbon cable connecting control panel to pad and wait about one or two minutes to see if the code comes back.

If the code comes back, then you likely need to replace control assembly.
If the code does not re-appear on display, then the problem is with the key pad. In that case replace the key pad.

The procedure is only indicative. In case of faulty control assembly procedure may not be a definitive test. In that case replace the control pad first.

I need a wiring diagram for the replacement ERCU on the JKP27WW1WW oven. Our oven is from 1994 and the new 'clock' module (ERC3) is slightly different where it connects to the 'bake' and 'broil' contacts....

I am not sure if this will help you but I did find a fellow that says he has the adaptable diagram for an updated part on this forum :

check the codes for your particular model..they are included witht he wiring diagram that came with your oven. F2 likely means your control board (ERC) has an issue. I can't vouch for accuracy but here's another location with fault code listings http://www.appliancepartspros.com/repairtips/repairtips_appliance+fault+codes.aspx#GE Range / Stove / Oven Fault Codes

You can try turning the circuit breaker off that feeds power to your oven ( in your house electrical panel) that might work. If it does not, unfortunately it might be indicating a need to replace the control board... good luck!

Check for proper power (control panel is 120V, burners and heat element are 240V) You may have lost connection in one of hot wires causing the burners/elements not to work yet the control panel still will

Overlay Panel bubbles up!

I had the same oven panel overlay bubbling problem on my GE oven purchased in 2008. It started peeling and bubbling within the 1 yr warranty, and GE sent me a replacement panel. This new part began bubbling again within 4 months. Again, I called but now they say it's out of warranty and they will not replace it. Obviously there's a manufacturing defect in this part. The panel looks terrible. It appears that GE no longer cares about the quality of their products.

Jrp24bow3bb electric double oven control panel.

Hi rhonm,
You should have found a connection diagram in the top of the oven. If you didn't, call GE at the following number and they will send you one. 1-800-626-2005
It would be very difficult for any one to make a recommendation without seeing the oven or part. Are there one or two gray wires? My first guess is that they sent you the wrong part. See photo for typical double oven ERC.
