It may be just the USB working mode of the player. The USB mode has to be set to either mass storage to view file/folders in Windows Explorer, or the other mode for Syncing with special mp3 player software such as Rapsody. NormalIy the USB mode is "automatic", but sometime this doesn't work or gets set off of automatic. So try setting the USB mode in the player's options. Is that doesn't work, please advise.

1.Turn on your computer. Connect your Samsung MP3 player to your PC via the USB cord. Power on your Samsung MP3 Player.2Wait for the popup screen and select "Open Folder to View Files." If no screen appears, navigate to my computer and double-click the Samsung player.3Select the MP3 files you no longer want on your player by highlighting them with the mouse.4Right-click and select "Delete."5Close the folder and safely remove the MP3 player by using the "Safely Remove Hardware" feature in the system tray.
