Reset the ipod. Using the computer and ipod. If you do not how to do it, follow the steps to it.

1. Connect the USB between the computer and ipod. Be sure to have the latest version of itunes

2. Go to the ipod summary and click restore. Be sure to back up everything.

Note: Because you need to reset the ipod. Any files will be erased. Be sure to backup any files, Like i said above on step 2. After it resets, you can put it back to normal.

3. After a couple of minutes waiting for ipod to reset to factory settings. Put the name on and customize your settings.

4. Now, you can put back files to the ipod so it is ready to use.

Note: It is not necessary to put a code. It is easier to pick a easy code than rather picking a hard code. Or don't pick a code for ipod.

What has happened is someone or you have put a code on your ipod for the limit of the sound. If you dont know the code then you will have to restore you ipod to get rid of it. I suggest backing up your ipod before hand or you will lose all of your songs

Ipod 2gb, someone put different code in it, now i dont know how to unlock or change code

Use the computer that you originally used, and open up itunes this should allow you to reset the password and resync your data. If you use a computer that was not used to sync it you will be able to unlock it but the ipod will be wiped.

My Ipod 30g asks for unlock code. My Ipod is locked and it asks for unlock code.

If you don't know the code, all you can do is use the Five Rs to restore the iPod. You will lose the data that is currently on it if you restore but you can always re-sync the data to the iPod. http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/five_rs/

My i pod touch is disabled from someone trying to put the password in to many times and it told me to connect to itunes and i did but it still isn't working.HELP

well when you connect it to itunes it should ask you to unlock it or something like that, but sometimes when that happens the ipod knows your computer os not authorized or something like that. So try again, otherwise send it into apple. This has happend to my friends before and he plugged it in the computer and unlocked it so it might work for you, but if not as i said talk to apple

I WAS FOOLING AROUND WITH LOCK CODES FOR MY 30 gb BLACK i POD AND LOCKED MYSELF OUT HOW CAN i FIX THIS PROBLEM?

plug it into your comp and iTunes will unlock it for you
This support document also provides additional information on locking and unlocking the iPod. According to Apple, if you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the iPod by doing the following:
Connect your iPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one iPod synced with), and open iTunes. When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked.
If you can't unlock iPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage its songs]. . . you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod.
If you want to change the primary computer that your iPod is associated with, do this:
1. Restore your iPod. Warning: The restore process cannot be undone. All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data.
2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer.
3. Open iTunes and synchronize
