Question about Canon Printers & Copiers
I understand how it feels when things don't work.
The error 5700 occurs mainly due to hardware malfunction. The error occurs mainly when the paper sensor stops working or is damaged.
How ever try reseating all the cables and also try uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Hope this works. If the issue persists the only way is to get it serviced.
But I suggest yo to go for a new printer instead of servicing the old one as it costs you more than buying a new one.
Thank you. Best of Luck.
