Lower your system resolution before executing the program. 1600x1200 worked for me, while 1920x1200 made game start in a little window that can't be maximized.

Try running it in compatibility mode, and if that doesn't work you could also try messing around with some other settings near compatibility mode. I had to do this for an old game called Diablo 2, but it's easy enough to do.

Find the game's launcher, either the desktop icon or the .exe file. Once you find this file, right click on it and in the menu that comes up, select the tab that says compatibility. Here, check the "run in compatibility mode for" and select Windows XP, since that is the OS that you are sure it works on. If that doesn't work, try messing with some of the options too, like the resolution and display scaling. For some odd reason, those make a difference sometimes. I remember Diablo 2 having a strange combination required to work on Windows 7 for me.

I brought sabrina the teenage witch spellbound pc game but It is only for windows 95 or 98 how can i download it for windows 7

Have you tried running the game in compatibilty mode? If not follow these steps.

1. Navigate your way to "My Computer" > "Local Disk (usually C:) > "Program Files (x86)" > and then the folder the program is stored in.

2. Right-click on the program launch icon and left-click on properties.

3. Click on the "Compatibility" tab.

4. Check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"

5. Click on the arrow pointing down and select a previous version of Windows which you know the game is compatible with.

6. Click on "OK", and try to run the game again.

Hope this helps. If not, let me know the outcome and I'll try to assist you further.

I'm trying to play rise and fall civilizations at war but i tried to play it after installing it and an alert came up saying there was compatibilty problem. please help

Depending on what operating system you have, it might legitimately be a compatibility problem with the OS. For example, if it's a 64 bit game and you're running it on a 32 bit platform (unlikely), or if the game was made for XP and you're playing it on Vista or 7.

One of the possible solutions (for the XP and Vista/7 problem, or basically any problem similar) is to right click on the .exe for the game and change it to compatibility mode. Go to My Computer>C:>Program Files (or Program Files (x86) in Vista/7)>Midway>Rise & Fall etc etc...It might not exactly be that directory, so in order to find it you can find its entry in the Start menu and right click on it, and go to properties. In the resulting menu you should see "Shortcut Target" or something to that effect that tells you the directory in which the game is located.

Open that directory and find the executable for the game. It should have a little mini picture of the game and should be named the same as the title of the game. Right click on it and go to Properties, then go to Compatibility. Check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode" and select the operating system in the drop down box for which the game was designed (You can find it on the back of the box). Now try running the game, and it should work in theory.

Unfortunately, I've had no luck with compatibility mode. Another option that might or might not work (depending on the requirements of the game) is to run it on a virtual machine. You can download VirtualBox as a virtual machine emulator, then create a virtual machine with the desired operating system. You have to have access to a licensed copy of the target OS, however, so if you don't have one this probably won't be the best solution for you. Also, virtual machines have a bad habit of not being compatible with certain graphics engines, etc, so it might not work anyway...Just a thought.

Though I've never used it, Windows 7 (if that is your operating system) users can download something called "Windows XP Mode" which lets you run programs which were designed with XP on your windows 7 platform. I believe it's some form of virtualization that's done, but as I've never used it, unfortunately I can't give you any helpful advice as to how to install, set up, and run it. You can most likely find anything/everything you need online. If you have any specific questions let me know and I can do some research and see what I can find out. Best of luck!

The lord of king game is not working on windows 7 32 bit

A couple of things to try:
1) Running in compatibility mode: Rightclick the executable and goto properties, under the compatibility tab, play with the settings.
2) Make sure all of your drivers and directx are the latest versions.
3) Run as administrator.
4) If this is an old game, try downloading an old version of direct x from when the game was new. Install the old version and use the version of directx diagnostics included with the old copies install files, this will give you options that the newest version of directx may not have. (Useful trick for running REALLY old games) NOTE: Don't forget to switch back to the current Directx if you use option 4.

Hope it helps,

Write click on the game icon or wherever the game start-up icon is. Click on "run as Administator". Alternatively if that doesnt work then there is a windows compatibilty mode for programs that were designed for xp or other operating system

Hi I need some kind of patch for making entente wwi working on 64 bits thanks

There are no patches to make any x86bit(32bit) software work on a x64bit(64bit) Operating System (OS).

But you can try installing any x86bit programs using the "compatibility mode" with "Administrator Privilege" on a x64 OS. There are no assurance that that the installed programs will work!

You can check Win 7 compatibilty issuses @ http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/default.aspx

Hope it helps.

Tuner is designed for windows xp/vista but i have system running windows 7 and the tuner driver cannot intall correctly. i need updated driver that can run on windows 7. Thanks

Have you tried running the installation in compatibilty mode?

uninstall the tuner driver and right click the install file and select Troubleshhot compatibilty. This will then ask if you want to use recommended settings or troubleshoot compatibility, select the second option. Then choose "ran in an earlier version" and "needs extra permissions" you will be asked which os it worked in previously so select xp or vista and click ok. You will then be presented with another box, click on the start program button, go through the installation process as normal, when you have finished click next on the box with the start program button, at the bottom click next and follow the prompts.

It says the driver cant install and i have windows 7

Does the software wrk with windows XP? If so:
Have you tried running the driver in Windows XP compatibility mode?
(right click icon, properties, search for compatibilty, select Windows XP Service Pack (SP) 2)
Some versions of windows can run a "virtual Windows XP" You can try to use that and install the driver in it, though you will then have to run XP mode to use the device.
