why your lenovo H430 Desktop cannot detect your internal Hard Drive Seagate 3 TB ..because your Lenovo only support maximum 2TB Internal Hard Drive..

so the best thing to solve your problem is replace your hard drive and use only maximum 2 TB for your internal hard drive..

You need access to a computer with Internet connection to download the drivers to an USB memory stick so you can install them on your Dell laptop.
You can download the device drivers from Dell WEB site,the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop,better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on thebottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Taglabel is missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages,the Service Tag number will be displayed). This will open the page where thespecific drivers for your model computer are located. Also make sure you selectthe Windows of the drivers for your Windows operating system. Although you can't see it, it's likely (if System Restore hasn't been turned off) that the system files are still intact in your partitioned hard drive. You don't need to locate it physically. When you boot up press ALT + F10 simultaneously. This will take you to the recovery process where you'll be given an opportunity to restore the machine to factory settings. This will wipe out all programs and files on your hard drive so only perform this as a last resort.

there's two possibilities
either the drive the disk is in is going out
or there's something wrong with the disk

I've got 2 hp pavilion desktop computers & I've had the drive go out & cd or dvd also

Hi, you need to re-install the operating system (OS). If you need the back up, copy the files in your Desktop & My Documents (because these items are in C drive) to another drive. After that insert windows 7 CD in your drive & restart the machine. Press F12, it'll shows the boot order. Select CD drive. OR change the boot order in BIOS. After restarting It'll shows PRESS ANY KEY TO BOOT FROM CD. press any key & continue your job.

Warning : Pls make sure that you are installing the OS in to the 'C' drive, otherwise you will lost your back up.

External hard drives of this type are mainly composed of a USB-to-SATA interface & a 2.5" SATA hard drive. If any of these components is defective, then you won't be able to access your data.
So, basically we have 2 possibilities:
1. A failing USB-to-SATA interface. You can test this possibility by disassembling the device, taking the hard drive out, & testing the hard drive in your desktop computer using a 2.5" to 3.5" SATA adapter. If the hard drive works fine, then the problem lies within the USB-to-SATA interface.
3. In the previous step, if the hard drive could not be detected by your desktop computer or is not working properly, then it is the failing part.
