Go to your Menu, then to Settings. I'm not looking at the phone right now, but I'm pretty sure it's under Ringers or Volume. One of these menus should have all your different ringers and volume options. Keypad will be included. Hope I could help a little. Good Luck!

How do i turn the keypad sound off on the SGH-A707 model?

Take your manual or download it from

SGH-A707 manual

Got to page 75. Here it is explained how to change the sound settings for the different phone modes. Most probably you are only using the normal mode. Following the instructions in the manual, go down to the

"Volume, Phone Sounds" submenu and choose the volume level "0".

Now the keypad should be silent.

Cheers

Phone turns on fine but nothing happens pushing buttons except power.

If your phone has a keypad lock option, make sure that the keypad is not locked. Refer to the user manual to know how to unlock the keypad.

It is also possible that the keypad is defective and needs to be replaced.
