I have just gone to replace motor controller on GW712 top loader washing machine but have found that the motor pump connections to be different. Old controller has 5 pin plug that does both, new controller has two seperate three pin plugs. Wires running into 5 pin plug in order (looking from back of machine) are blue, yellow, red, brown, white how do I adjust wiring to fix problem?

The new motor controller board has a plastic breakout bit on the pump socket witch will give you 5 wire motor/pump.
No mod needed to wires or plugs.

Samsung top loader washer no power

sounds like a controller board psu error
perhaps a capacitor has burned some connections
i know top loaders use motor start capacitors and some live connections unify at the motor and then one goes too the controller board ... so some can burn can cause this but most often
some safety component fuses

in all machines everything has power supplied via the controller board unless the heater element has gone and blown a fuse then its a job for a tech .... or a good pal with the right knowlage

GW712 will not agitate or spin, 1st and 7th lights lit, beeping every second.

Your Error code is 130
130. (10000010) Phase 1 to 6 Single Rotor Position Sensor Error
The Motor Controller has found an error in the pattern received from the Rotor
Position Sensor. Likely causes of this fault are a bad connection on the harness
between the Rotor Position Sensor and the Motor Controller, or a faulty Rotor
Position Sensor.
Primary Source: Wiring.
Action:
1) Check for corrosion on the edge connector of the Rotor Position Sensor and
the Motor Controller module connector.
2) Check the contacts on the rotor positional sensor end of the hall harness to
see if any have been damaged. (Each set of contacts in the socket has two
wipers. If the distance between these wipers varies between different
contacts, replace the rotor positional sensor harness).
Secondary Source: Rotor Position Sensor.
Action:
Check the Rotor Position Sensor with an R.P.S. tester. Replace if faulty.
Tertiary Source: Motor Controller module.
Action:
Replace Motor Controller module.

Gw712 top loader. There is a noise when on spin cycle, especially when cold. If it was a non direct drive machine I would say the belt was slipping or the brake grabbing. Vague I know. John

it sounds like that perhaps the stator windings may have gone out of shape, you need to have a look to be certain though.

Tip the machine over, with a socket in the middle of the hub to remove, then check the inside of magnets for signs of contact between this and the stator (with the copper wires wound about) if this be the case you will require to replace the two units, worst case scenario.

Detailed service manual for a fisher paykel gw712 washing machine

i'd say its either blocked pump or hose, faulty pump or motor controller, the latter 2 being a bit expensive, most people throw these away if the motor controller fails, cos its expensive!

Loud noise when draining

You need to tilt this machine back and remove the drain pump from under the machine and check for anything stuck in there eg a hair clip or coin etc. If there's nothing stuck in there you may need to repalce the drain pump. Cheers

Water flow into machine dribbling - Fisher and Paykel GW712 (AU)

The first thing that needs to be done is to disconnect the fill hoses from the back of the machine. Once disconnected, look at the inlet valve screens and check for blockage, if clear, open the water valves and check for water flow through hoses, if not clear, clean screens at fill valve, reconnect hoses & check for operation. If the problem remains, then the problem is with the machines fill valve & it would need to be replaced
