Question about ASUS Eee PC 1000HE Netbook
Why wont it charge the orange light is blinking, and when i click on the icon in the tray it says it's charging and is at 0 percent, but wont acutally charge.

the sound card in n that netbook is a very weak one, alot of people complain, could be that
could also be that you have the wave volume turned down...
go to start
sound and audio devices
right under the volume slider click the advanced tab
make sure all tabs there are maxxed out
if that doesnt work
turn dolby on, suposedl;y that helps...
if that doesnt work, turn the volume up all the way, play a soft song, like saxaphone music, adn get the speaker close to your ear, if you can barely hear the music, and get about the same amount of static or white noise, you have a shorted circuit with the internal sound system...

are you sure that the key is seated properly on the board? This can easily be fixed by popping it off and checking to see if the 1, or 2, plastic like springs are connect to the key and the board.

sorry there probably wouldn't be any way to fix it sorry i woul sugest that you claimed a warranty ( if you still have one ) if not take to a camera shop or it I.T store... sorry...

If you have External Monitor check by connecting it
if you get display on external monitor without line it means Display screen is Bad, if Line appears on external display as well then there is either Display driver issue or motherboard problem.
