My ipod nano just stoped workin

We had the ipod hooked up to my husband's cd player in his truck and it worked great no problems ...then one day it wouldn't change songs,, so when I went to unplug it and hand change the songs it was like it was turned off and i tried to get it to turn back on and it wouldn't ...So I took it inside thinkin it might need to be charged and the computer wasn't reconizeing it... What could be wrong with it? I didn't buy it new.. I bought it off a friend of mine and only had it a few months.

Nano's are really tricky. First make sure when you hook up to computer make sure it has the Itunes that the Nano was last downloaded from.. Let it charge for a least a hour. It has to sync back up. Mine has done it before. I let it sit on charge, If the computer doesn't recognize it try all the usb ports on computer. Keep trying until the computer recognizes it. That's the problem as soon as the computer get's it. Try powering up. Might take a couple of times. Tha't what I did and it worked. Definitely let it charge because that will shut it off if the battery is dead..??? Good Luck

My husband put some music on my ipod nano about 1 month ago. when he went back to add music to my ipod it locked him out and will not let him do anything. how do i fix this

You need to restore your Ipod .... This will erase all content on the ipod. The ipod can only be synced to one itunes account. This is a pretty easy fix for you. Your ipod is a nano so the max space you can have is 16gb. Just connect your ipod to your itunes account erase and sync it with your library you will need to add any additional songs from your husbands library to your library if you want them on your player ... or if your spouse has all the music that you want on your ipod just sync the nano to his library hope this helps

Replace an iPod

As long as a refurbished iPod is coming from an authorized apple retailer, it is an excellent idea to go that rout. The 80GB iPod is just as stable as a Nano and the capacity I have found is great. They even make a 160GB iPod now as well :)

Ipod won't sync to Itunes

When you wiped the old computer and then reconnected to the new computer, it reformatted the player, causing data corruption. I would try all five of these suggestions, but first try uninstalling and reinstalling all Apple/iTunes software: Reset, Retry, Restart, Reinstall, Restore Remember these five basic suggestions if you have a problem with your iPod nano. If one of the following doesn’t help, read on for solutions to specific problems. â Reset your iPod nano. See “General Suggestions,” below. â Retry with a different USB port if you cannot see iPod nano in iTunes. â Restart your computer and make sure you have the latest software updates installed. â Reinstall iPod and iTunes software from the latest versions on the web. â Restore your iPod nano. See “Updating and Restoring iPod Software” on page 50.

Synching Windows Media Player 11 files over to the Apple Ipod Nano

Unless your espisodes are in Mpeg 4 (MP4) format they will not work on your Nano.

You have to use ITunes to put anything into your IPod to play it back properly.

My Ipod Nano Won't Respond

The problem may be battery charge. Leave it plugged into the computer for 6 hours, and then try it. If this does not work, the best thing to do may be to call apple for further help.

Cannot get Ipod Nano to appear in the source panel

The newer iPod nano requires iTunes 7 or later, which unfortunately requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later. You must upgrade your operating system to install iTunes so you can use your iPod with it.
