Garage door will not close with controller

garage door will open with door opener,and manually with keypad.
it will also close manually when pressing and holding keypad (first it will flash lights as if sensor detects something,but there is nothing in the way)
it will n ot however close with door opener at all.
please help!
i have 2 door openers " clicker" and both can only open the door.

problem is in eyes. are they clean. aligned . led on each is lit. aligned. that is your problem. they rarely go bad.
