phl4103-3.jpg on the left side of the dial will be a little metal arrow that will not move when the dial moves, this is the set point. set the temp. you want at this point.

If aquastat wirings are ok, and control module had been set up properly, the the furnace should start.
Check if bypassing the control the furnace starts, if it starts then check aquastat wirings.
If it depends on the furnace, check the valve, the safety sensor and the ignitor.

Well my furnace wont turn on at all i got power to the aquastat "honeywell L8148A1017" but no power coming out of the b1 b2 "burrner outs on the board at all but i hear the click in the...


the relay on the aquastat is probably bad ( contacts ) try actuating the relay with a screw driver to see if it engages the unit. if it does theres your problem new aquastat

My L4103 aquastat is set too hot, it does not clearly stat temps on set dial which way do i turn it to lesson temp

What are you fanning??? the fire?

Do you have a circulator that circulates when the water is up? Many controls have a AUX connection ... wire the AUX to your fan --- alaternatively, wire directly fron your circulator connection to the fan.

I hope I understood your question ...

My john wood hot water tank over flows through the relief valve every 3 - 6 months. The hot water is too hot and I can't seem to adjust the Aquastat L4103 on the hot water heater to a good temperature....


There should be plate on the front of the hot water heater tank.. Pop that off..
There might be some insilation to move and you should see a set screw for adjusting the temp..
If there are no indications for hotter or cooler - then do a 1/8 turn to a 1/4 turn counter clockwise..
