Question about Maytag Dryers
The dryer does not have any gas lines those are all part of your installation, there should be a shut off valve for the gas supply behind the dryer itself,YOU NEED TO TURN OFF the gas supply to the unit before disconnecting. the moving company wont do it for the liablity of blowing up your house! if you dont feel comfortable disconnecting a gas line or are uncertain of gas being off to the unit I STRONGLY reccomend that you have a qualified person disconnect your appliance.
