My picture will become lighter, as though someone just changed the picture setting, and then darker. It will do this about every 5 minutes. The change is almost instant, as though someone just pushed the "picture" button. The button changes the setting from light, to natural, to soft, to custom.

Re: Trutech LCD TV 32"
This problem could be a problem with the control board which is the master control for all of these functions. It could also be a problem with the power inverter board becoming intermittent in its operations. The back light could also be having a problem. You can call Tru tech customer service at these numbers. 1-888-252-6252 and 1-800-252-6123. I hope this helps you with your problem.

Go to settings on the TV menu. It should be under picture and you can change the picture mode and auto dimming setting from ON to OFF...if you want to do an update.. then go to Sonys website .. key in your model number ..look for firmware updates then download this file onto a formatted USB flash drive.. remove and insert into TV and when turned on the set should pick up the update automactiaclly
your TV has burn screen or traces.it comes from one image left on the screen for too long, it can get burned into the screen, making it visible at all times. You can actually eliminate most screen burns with the use of a PC computer and a black and white screen saver. This trick eliminates screen burn after a period of several minutes because the black and white screens flash quickly, removing all traces of color from the screen. This will eventually eliminate any burned images on the LCD screen.you can do it by creating a DVD picture slide with only black and white image.you can use a computer to make DVD picture slidefirstgo to paint brush and draw only white then save as white.jpg.secondburn it into nero or other dvd burnerthirdplay it to your DVD player connected to you LCD TV.it has to be played in full screen
let the white image display on your HDTV for several hours or even overnight. It should remove any burned-in images or ghosts.hope this help............... thanks....
Actually, it is a failing component. Quick scene changes often place demands on the power supply. I would guess that the noise is more prevelant when the scenes change from darker ones to lighter ones. Since this set is so new, request a warranty exchange. This set needs to be serviced. Return it to the place of purchase and ask for a replacement. Usually if the set is less than 30 days old, they just exchange it for you.
I have a sansui 19" LCD TV+DVD I had to attempt multiple times turning the TV on to get a picture. The sound was fine. This kept happening when I would go to turn on the set the TV kept playing fine with picture & sound but after the 2nd attemts I turned it off & then tried to turn it back on which took multiple attempts, it kept playing for a few minutes then the picture went out but the sound was still there. The set is not yet 2 years old.
