Wow! Thanks so very, very much. My daughter and I were able to unclog my washer! The manual gave no indication as to where to even go into the machine! We are women hear us roar...but only with your help of the solution below. Thanks again, Shawn & Lisa

There is a filter down in the bottom front of the washer (below the drum) that is probably clogged with feathers. It is a pain to get to, but once you get it cleaned out, the washer should spin and drain without problems.

Sounds like the fill water solenoid has bust, they are cheap to replace and fairly easy. make sure you disconnect from power supply and water supply before trying.

My door locks close but they dont open

Switch may be dirty or worn out. Or the lock mechanisms themselves need to be cleaned and lubed. I would try cleaning the lock mecahnisms first.

Hello my splendide wd2000s wont drain or spin and wont release the door lock...what do you think

If the machine senses that there is water still in the tub, it will not release the door. Unplug the machine you should her a click and the door should release itself. should take about a minute. As far as the drain and spin, remove the washer/dryer back and check the drain pump, check that the lint filter is clean and that the drain hose is clear of foreign objects. I have instructions for how to unlock the door when the machine is in a cycle. If you're door lock is continuously giving problems,i can walk you thru the steps to test it, to see if needs to be replaced. Lets start with those solutions first, if they don't work we can go to the next step, which would be to test the drain pump and the door lock, and also to put the machine in diagnostic mode

Duck Feather Pillow In Washer. Feathers everywhere. door will not unlock or drain water. help

Pull off the lower front panel and reach up on the right of the washer to the door lock assembly you will feel a tab hanging down pull it and the door will release. Clean out the drain filter and pump hoses etc. Rise it out and you may have to clean the filter a few times.
