Hello PANDJ4952, Check your oil level first. If low or a dark color it needs changing. I suggest you change spark plug and air filter too. With the engine cold clean the fins around the spark plug location of caked up mud or clogs of grass including under the mower where the blade rotates. Please let me know of the results.

Have a 25 horse kawasaki lawn mower flooding

Sounds like there is some debris in the inlet jet of your carb. You will need to clean and rebuild your carb to solve this problem. Suggestion: When cleaning your carb, replace the diaphrams as they will harden with age and cause hard starting also. Another tip...before you remove your jets on your carb, count the number of turns it takes to seat them, that way when you replace them you will seat them and then back them back out to the correct number of turns they were originally set at. Good Luck, I hope this helped Please Rate me, Thanks

Lawn mower engine shuts off after about 15 secs of starting.

Possible solutions:
-Water or trash (or both) is in the gas tank which means you must empty all gas from the tank and refill with fresh gas. The carb. will need to have all old gas removed too. If this is the case you will want to empty your gas can too because it may be the source of the water/trash.

-Replace the priming bulb.

Ryobi EX26 dies when hot, won't start, then when cool starts

This sounnds too good to be true, but believe it!

The next time you run the trimmer and it starts to die, loosen the gas cap. It should start to run again. This means that the gas cap is clogged. Either clear the gas cap or buy a new one. This should solve the problem.

If you need further assistance, just let me know.

Toro SR4 Running problem when hot

It can be quite a things - a blocked air filter or a blocked exhaust. To clean the exhaust, unbolt it from the manifold, hold it vertical and hit on the side until no more soot comes out. Changing the air filter should be pretty straightforward. If the spark plug bottom end is black then you have the fuel mixture too rich and you should lessen the flow of fuel.

Lawn boy mowers

check for stuck float in the float case youll find a small needle valve which is adjusted.. by the level of fuel when it raise the float the float lifts the neddle up to allow fuel to pass to the intake it may stuck..or check your governer on top of your fly wheel.. if your have a standered carburator with a pump,, that bolts to the side..similer to breggs and straton... their a spring and a short thin rod that opreates the govener..if the spring is streched or the thin rod is bent out it will cause the mower to run high speed....heres a idea,, you know a carbarator. makes a engin run fast or slow..it has to have something to adjust the speed on it..start their first..
