www.seymourduncan.com is a professional resource that offers diagrams of nearly every electric possibility (# of volume and tone knobs, switch types, and pickup types). There are others sites, but SD is the most complete.

Well that depends. What do you want it to do after you rewire it? Are you wanting to install new pickups or add any features? One of the best sources I have found for wiring diagrams is Seymour Duncan. They not only have listings for how to wire their pickups, but also many of the common wiring diagrams for many guitars. Please only do this if you feel comfortable with soldering. Otherwaise, take it to a local luthier.

The company from where you got the pickups would have the schematic. What pickup are they.
When there are 4 wires it usually to split the coils in the individual pickups

Its basic diagram #2.....but a twin pickup les paul is a twin pickup les paul!

This is the way most aftermarket pickups are set up. Its to accommodate different wiring setups like coil splitting.

Whether the pickup is a Duncan or not does not make a difference. Make sure you solder the red and white wires together(the ones together in the diagram) and cover the joint with heat shrink or electrical tape.

This is exactly how any 2 pickup, 2 volume, 2 tone, three way switch guitar would be wired from the factory. Best of luck!
