I have a similar problem with my 7005. It quit in the middle of a load, the power light is off (the washer is working and they're on the same cord-stacked) the reset is deployed and I've cleaned out all the lint places. It's plugged in and the circuit breaker has been reset. Do I have to call a servive person or have I missed something easy?

Go reset your circuit breaker. Even if it didn't pop out, reset it.

When drying a load of clothes the dryer (Asko 7305) simply quit and when I came back to the unit the clothes were dry, but the digital panel was dark and no power available to the unit. I have pushed the...

Hello Susan, Welcome to FixYa. Have you checked to see if perhaps one or both of the fuses may have blown at the back of the unit...I don't mean the hi-limit that you already referred to...I mean the in-line fuses the Asko machines are equipped with. Let me know and we can move forward from here. Regards, Macmarkus :)

I have a 7005 asko dryer and it is not drying clothes. It heats and tumbles for hours but the clothes never dry. I have cleaned the filter. Any ideas?

Hi, Sorry you have had to wait so long for an answer or possible solution. Hopefully it's not too late. There are two things to look for on an Asko dryer that is heating & tumbling but not drying ( since you've indicated the lint screen has been cleaned ) 1) a clogged vent...however this doesn't seem likely since you have heat & a poor vent usually trips the manual hi-limit reset on the heater housing in back. 2) a loose or broken exhaust blower wheel...this IS most likely and I've come across quite a few. The squirrel cage type blower has a "D" shaped shaft which fits to the shaft of the motor and is held there via a single nut. Over time or use, the blower will stripe the "D" shape shaft which enables it to not move the exhaust sufficiently, hence the items do not dry properly or as they once did. You can chrck this by pulling the access panel off followed by the plastic covering ( exhaust housing covers ) to expose the blower wheel. If it spins freely and independant of the motor, you'll need to tighten it or, more likely need to replace it. Hope this was helpful in solving your problem. Thanks for coming to "fixya" and let me know if I can assist you further. Good luck. Macmarkus :)

Asko dryer model#7005 when i start the dryer i push the start button and let it go it does not stay on. If i hold the start button down the dryer will stay running.

Hi There, Sounds like there is a relay switch that may be faulty, the power should latch on when you press the start button, I am unsure of this model type, but usually there is a small PCB inside the unit behind the facia, remove the top to expose it, and you can either replace the PCB or replace the relay the latter being cheaper but more work as you will have to reflow and solder the relay

Asko t760 display panel

My Asko T761 had the same problem, power button lights up but the LCD panel if off. This is not the fuse becuase I replaced with "new fuse replacement kit" provide by Asko but this did not solve my problem. All I needed to do was press the "reset button".
