Bear this in mind, when looking for the sub-assembly's that have to be removed prior, to removing the LCD Module. (Display Assembly)
Examples such as;
See "Removing the Battery Pack" page 44.
See "Removing the SD Dummy Card" page 45.
,and so on.
A) Remove ALL power. Remove the AC adapter (Charger) and Battery.
B) FOLLOW Anti-Static Precautions.
Buy and wear an ESD wrist strap.
{ Electro Static Discharge }
Average cost is around $3 to $6.
You will be disassembling part of the main body of the laptop, in order to remove the LCD Module.
You do Not want to Static shock your laptop.
One example of an ESD wrist strap,

Connect the alligator clip to a good ground source.
[ I connect to an unpainted surface, of the metal frame of an open, empty desktop computer case.
If the table you are working on has metal legs, connect to an unpainted surface of one of them.
Or set a large metallic object on the table you are working on, and connect to it.
Perhaps a large metal serving tray, (Unpainted), or large metal knicknack, (Unpainted)
C) Use a multi-compartment container for the various screws you will remove.
Label each compartment for the area the screw/s come out of.
SOME screws look VERY similar to other screws.
Do Not mix them up.
[ Middle Cover, page 65 in the PDF file page number box.
LOTS of screws ]
A) Do not remove any boards off of the Middle Cover. You are just getting the Middle Cover out of the way.
{ i.e., Power Button Board, Powersaving board
B) Don't forget about the one screw, Down In,
the Harddrive Compartment.
C) Place the static sensitive components you will remove, on a static free surface. (i.e., Ram Memory, Harddrive, TV Tuner Card, Wireless LAN Card, etc)
D) Removing the Keyboard. Page 68 in the PDF file.
To also include all of the ZIF connectors you have to unlock.
(Powersaving Board, Power Button Board )
The cable coming from the Keyboard, Power Button Board, and Powersaving Board, is a FFC.
Flat Flex Cable,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flat_Flex_Cable
Click on the second photo down on the right.
Heading - 35 conductor flat flex cable
This is a wider version. More conductors, or also stated as more wires.
Very thin flat wires are laid side by side, then coated with a plastic insulation.
At the tips of the thin wires, shown to the right side, are thin strip contacts. Probably coated with Platinum.
As you can see this flat flex cable has NO connector. For your laptop, it slides into a connector on the motherboard, and is locked into position.
The connector on the motherboard is a ZIF connector.
Zero Insertion Force.
For the type that is used on your motherboard, the locking tab, or Lock, is GENTLY flipped up.
Stood up to a 90 degree position. Standing straight up.
This releases the FFC.
NOW the FFC can be gently slid out.
NOTE*
Even if the Flat Flex Cable is twisted, it goes back in the SAME position it was before. If it was twisted before, it will be twisted again.
BEFORE you remove the FFC, mark one side of it, and it's respective connector, to Ensure that the flat cable, is reinstalled back to the same factory position.
[ Note* When reinstalling ANY cable, make sure it is routed back through the SAME channels, and the same positioning, as it was from the factory. If not, the result is pinched cables, and a laptop that may not go back together correctly. Main Assembly, or LCD Module assembly ]
Failure to properly release that tiny lock, may result in it's breakage.
More than likely you will have to replace the Motherboard.
E) The DC IN cable just unplugs. It's keyed, so that you can only install it one way.
Same with the LCD Cable. (Video Cable)
(Remember, cables go back in the same channels, and through the same Latches, when reassembling )
F) The Wireless Antenna leads come up out of the top of the laptop.
(CAREFULLY)
You have already disconnected them from the Wireless Module, in the bottom of the laptop.
(Remember where Black and White wires attach to the Wireless Module )
The Wireless Antenna leads stay with the Display Assembly.
(LCD Module)
They have to be carefully threaded back in the same way they came out, when reassembling. You may want to take photos before removing.
G) There are Four screws, attaching the Hinges to the body of the laptop.
2 Hinges, 2 screws per Hinge.
Take out one screw for each Hinge. Then holding securely onto the LCD Module, remove the 3rd screw.
Finally the 4th screw.
People have the tendency to forget the LCD Module will be loose, and wind up snapping a Hinge, or worse.
H) LCD Module Disassembly:
The thin flat plastic frame in the front of the LCD screen, is the LCD Bezel. (Also referred to on other laptops as Display Bezel, and Display Mask)
There are 2 screws to remove from the bottom. One in each bottom corner.
There are 4 screws to remove from the top.
Haven't had this model come to my shop, nor have I seen one up close.
Service Manual indicates the screw heads are exposed.
Most laptops have a rubber type of cover over the heads of the screws.
Held in place by a type of Rubber Cement.
If carefully pried off, and stored, most often they can be reused.
(Screw Covers)
I use a large darning needle to Gently pry up on one edge, then carefully slip a small Jewelers flat tipped screwdriver, under this space.
Do Not let them stick together, and yes, they stick to EVERYTHING! lol!
Looking down from the top, place your fingertips at the inside edge, of the LCD Bezel, at the Top.
Place the right hand at the right side in-between the outside edge, and middle of the LCD Module.
Same with the left hand on the left side.
Using your fingertips gently pry up on the inside edge. When the bezel flexes far enough, it will start to 'pop' out.
[ LCD Bezel has plastic tabs, or protrusions, that are formed out of the bezel.
These snap into place in the LCD Module Cover.
When coming loose they make a popping, or snapping sound ]
The LCD screen is composed of layers. These layers are held in the factory set position, by a metal Screen Frame.
The Screen Frame resembles a picture frame.
This frame comes apart. There are screws on the sides of the frame, which when removed take the frame apart.
When removing the LCD Brackets, only remove the necessary screws.

Acer 7735Z
Carefully, Flip over the laptop with the lid closed (and at your knees),
and remove the 3 across the top, then the middle one to the right of
battery compartment, and the 2 to the left of the battery compartment.
Open the laptop, and lift the cover gently that houses the power
button. Don't lift it right off as there is a cable connecting it to
the laptop & you don't want to disconnect it. You can, but you
don't have to.
Then, lift the keyboard up at the top of the assembly, carefully as you
till need to take note of the direction the keyboard cable goes into the
laptop. Pry up the brown cable retainer for the keyboard cable (it
will swivel up 90 degrees), slide out the cable and remove the old
keyboard assembly.
To install, put in cable, push back the cable retainer, slide keyboard
assembly into laptop bottom first (you will see the tabs and where they
fit). Replace the cover that houses the power button, it will snap down
to help hold the top of the keyboard down. Close cover, flip over and
replace the screws.
