Question about Philips Televison & Video
This tv is only about 5 years old as my son got it from a friend and he bought it new and then i got it from my son. tv had a green and pink shadow on bottom of screen now the whole screen has white with pink strips running across the whole screen if i mess with it and go thru the av chs it goes back to the shadow problem on the bottom but that does not last and it takes forever to get it to change what would be the problem and is this a projection tv as i bought it used at a lease to own store so i did not get any manuels etc. as to infor on tv
TV repairs are generally much too expensive to undertake given the great prices out there for new ones with warranty.
I would not bother with it.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Pink bar across top of tv screen
This could be from 2 things. 1 is the optical block is going bad or 2 you got a peice of dust blown in from the cooling fan and its blocking the color filter internally. If you are capable you can take the tv apart and blow compressed air into the color block and remove the dust. Hope this helps
