Im assuming this on/off unit is the amplifier? lol sorry. follow the other speaker cable to where it connects to the pc and you should find the socket it came from next to it. Most sockets have a symbol to show you which is which.

On the back of the computer you will see a blue, red and lime green connector. Usually the speaker goes into the lime green plug. Also if there is a black plug instead of a lime green plug,, plug it in there.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

No sound from second speaker

First It might be possible that it may have come unplugged, if not maybe the wiring to the speaker needs fixed, I had a problem with mine cutting in and out and it needed to be re satured. I would say it is a problem with the driver but since the one works I would rule out that problem. Please let me know if this helps by rating me. Jeff from fixya

This is a loose connection between PC and the Sub-woofer. The cables may damaged or it may be a hard ware problem.

My logitech x140 speakers are very quite even with the volume on my speakers and pc turned right up i am barely able to hear the music/game etc

Go into the Volume Panel, then check whether "Wave" is all the way up - if it's not, turn it up, and the sound will become much louder. :D

Logitech x530 hissing noise

I had the same problem for the longest time with my set of Logitech 540 5.1 speakers. Turns out the solution was pretty simple. All I did was open the Master Volume controller and mute the Microphone. Hissing went to zero. Sound is great now.
