I have a DCD940KX 18v Dewalt drill driver with the one click drill chuck. It does not keep drill bits or screwdriver bits from spinning. They spin with the slightest bit of pressure on them. My questions are as follows: Is this a common problem with this particular model ; Also, I tried to remove the chuck. The LH T20 screw came out fine, but chucking up a 1/4" Allen key in the chuck and hitting it with a hammer in a counterclockwise manner did not even budge the chuck. What gives? Thank you SF.

My DC759 drill was apparently assembled without the bearing clip so the nose pulls out chuck, shaft and all. I purchased a clip but it looks like I need to dissamble the chuck and remove the clutch ring to install. could you outline the procedure? I hate to just start taking things apart when I'm not sure where I'm going. Thanks, Terry
