DM75Royal personal Organizer

If you need to replace the batteries in your DM75 Royal personal organizer, here are general steps you can follow. Keep in mind that the specific process may vary slightly depending on the model:
1. **Locate the Battery Compartment:**
Look for the battery compartment on the back or bottom of your DM75 Royal personal organizer. The compartment is typically secured with a screw or latch.
2. **Open the Battery Compartment:**
Use a small screwdriver or coin to open the compartment. If there is a screw, turn it counterclockwise to release it. If it's a latch, slide or press it to open the compartment.
3. **Remove Old Batteries:**
Take note of the orientation of the old batteries (positive and negative terminals). Remove the old batteries from the compartment.
4. **Insert New Batteries:**
Insert the new batteries, making sure to align them correctly with the positive and negative markings inside the compartment. Follow the same orientation as the old batteries.
5. **Close the Battery Compartment:**
If there was a screw, secure it back in place by turning it clockwise. If it was a latch, close the compartment securely.
6. **Test the Personal Organizer:**
Turn on your DM75 Royal personal organizer and check if it powers up. Ensure that the display is functioning correctly.
7. **Set Date and Time (if necessary):**
If your personal organizer has a clock function, you may need to set the date and time after replacing the batteries.
Please note that the above steps are general instructions, and the design of battery compartments can vary between models. If you encounter any difficulties or if your specific model has unique features, it's advisable to refer to the user manual that came with your DM75 Royal personal organizer. The manual should provide detailed instructions on battery replacement and other essential functions.
If you don't have the user manual, you can often find it on the manufacturer's website or contact Royal customer support for assistance.

I have a ROYAL DM80nx organizer and need to know how to change the date and time on it.

press the time button and the press button at the bottom with a key on it. (it has 't.set' in grey writing just above). On the screen - at the top - the first letter should be flashing. To be honest I don't know what it means at the top but you can use the arrow keys to go navigate. The 1st line has the day at the right. The 2nd line has the date - YYYY - MM - DD. On the 3rd line is the time. A=AM, P=PM. HH - MM - SS (Seconds cannot be set but reset to 0 whenever the time is changed).

Have lost my users manual.. baught new batterys and when i replaced them i lost everything except the day and date.. i have had this dm5070 for many years and it is the exact unit as shown above this...

Robert!

First see the FIXYA link below.

Robert, sounds like you need to get to your BIOS settings... different mfg. have different KEYS to press just as your ROYAL starts to start (or boot up).

Sometimes it's the F1 key... for others it's the ESC or Escape key and some use any ONE of the other "F Keys".

The trick is to GET THERE JUST as you see the FIRST screen flash ~ if not slightly before.

In the BIOS you should see a series of OPTIONS... DO NOT change *any* of them ~ except the "DATE AND TIME".

PS: It's the Holiday Season and WE give you permission to get yourself a NEW computer! At 73 ~ YOU deserve it.

Note:
Robert, your Royal looks like a older puppy... Just know MOST systems have a BATTERY that keeps your date and time SET... even when power is disconnected. It's a good idea to change that battery every 3 ~ 5 years OR you may find yourself adjusting date and time often. That battery is called a CMOS battery.

They are about the size and appearance of a US Quarter.
