Sony kv-32hv600 picture problems

Hello- I recently acquired this used set which has a few problems both related to the picture. The first is the lower two corners are washed out with a yellowish-green hue. This is not a big problem as I am often watching DVD's that do not use that portion of the screen. The more concerning problem is after 15-30 seconds of a perfect picture, the screen seems to slump. Technically, the top of the picture is concave while the bottom is convex or u-shaped. Also, the picture quality declines to a darker, slightly greener picture. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Sony kv-32hv600 picture problems

Problem 1. Color patches at lower corners. These are caused by magnetic sources close to the TV. Do you have any Speakers close to the sides of the TV? Are they Magnetically sheilded? No? Move them away from the TV. Problem should then resolve itself in a couple of days. Problem2. Screen Slumping. Most likely a problem with the Pin cushion correction ckts. Get a good technician to have look. cost should not be much. Under 100$ plus Technician fees.

Sony KV-32HV600 won't turn on.

If the blink repeats the same number of times (up to 6 or 7) between pauses, the number of blinks is a trouble code. Determine that number (count), then search this site and the web for your TV model and that code. Also look on the rear of the set for the chassis number, and search on that keyword.

Television will not turn on

My Sony KV 32HV600 will not turn on, unless I take it for a car ride THen it will turn on and is fine until it shuts off again. Which circuit board should I change or send in for repairs? definately there is a loose contact as you have ezplained. please check connector or some print loose or parts loose in power supply. if it is ok then check h/output section for loose or print break. it is not a major problem &can fixed ar home. no need to change board remove board &check for print. it requires tech knowledge.
