SOURCE: jvc kd-sh55 head unit

Have you tried pressing the "RESET" button on the stereo? I have a JVC unit in my car and the reset button is a tiny hole behind the detachable face. Take a pencil or a pen and insert the end into the tiny hole an hold for a few seconds. This will reset the stereo and you should be able to eject the CD as you normally would. If it's a mini-disc (8mm) you probably would have to take the unit apart and manually retrieve it - big hassle. Check the owner's manual to find out where the "RESET" button is if it is not behind the face. If you don't have the owner's manual, you can download one from Hope this helps.

SOURCE: problem downloading

Follow this link to the how to instructions.
Then go the next link and download the (Image Converter wide 1.2), version, now remember it takes time to load onto your player, 90 frames might take 4 minutes. I’ve done this and it works but you have to set your player settings to user options it helps to have the Instruction manual handy.
Instruction manual is at this link.

The Touch will not work with the KDPDR30. I spoke with JVC and their models that will operate the Touch are KDPDR40, KDAPD49, KDPDR45, KDPDR41 and KDG47 the last two have a cable required.

I have jvc car audio model # kd-g335 how to connect my sub woofer?

You can not connect the subwoofer directly to your head unit. You need an amplifier installed to play the sub woofer. Asuming that there is an amplifier installed then: If your head unit has an RCA output on the rear, connect that to the LINE IN of your amplifier. Also there should be a Blue&White cable at the rear of the head unit.(amplifier remote) That should be connected the the remote terminal on the amplifier. (this will turn the amp on and off when the head unit turns on or off) Hope this helps. dreamsystems

Is there a way to link a JVC Kameleon head unit with my stock CD changer? I have a mercedes slk350, just replaced the audio 20 head unit with the JVC Kameleon. Everything works and looks good, but I want...

The only thing i can suggest is to go to your audio shop and ask the same question to them, as they normally carry many different styles of leads and may have one there that will help you to connect your cd player, Is there a din output on the back of this unit? if so they should be able to help.

Playing my Ipod through a JVC-S733R, Best resuls

Hello bob2154,

Well, best and cheapest are mutually exclusive.

The best way would be to replace the head unit with perhaps the newer JVC KD-DV5400 which does have an aux input on the front. If you order from Crutchfield and use my referral number, you'll save $20 and shipping is free.

If you want the cheapest way, I recommend using an iPod FM adapter. Here's a link to which sells the Belkin F8Z075 fro $37.49 plus shipping.

Most older head units cannot directly translate the data from MP3/MP4's so your head unit will probably display something like "UNKNOWN TITLE".

Hope this helps.

Connecting iPod to JVC KD-LH810!?!

Hi, KD-LH810 has no option for external input. Refer to the picture attached. It is only front and rear line outputs. Don't get disappointed. Buy the accessory cable KS-U100 and you are set. This info is from the installation manual.

JVC Daisy Chain

If your autochanger has an input as well as an output connector it will be possible. The iPod adapter would have to be plugged into the changer's input, and the changer's output cable would run to the KD-G421.

This manual here from JVC shows a diagram on the middle of page 1 where an i-Pod adapter (I'm assuming you have the KS-PD100) is connected daisy-chained with an XM tuner or a DLP unit. Although it doesn't explicitly say that it would work with a CD changer, I don't think it'll be a problem as long as you have an input on the changer.
